Cottesloe is a beach-side suburb of the city of Perth in Western Australia. It is located roughly halfway between Perth central business district and the port of Fremantle. It is famous for its beaches, cafes and relaxed lifestyle.

Cottesloe is the premium beachside suburb of WA, named in honour of Captain C. H Fremantle whose brother became Baron Cottesloe in 1874. This is the place where people enjoy a lifestyle of swimming, surfing, long walks along the coast and watching the incredible sunsets under the pine trees. The spirit of Cottesloe is a sense of adventure, of rugged individuality, and just the slightest hint of the Australian larrikin. There is evidence of great wealth and status which sits comfortably beside the humble and the ordinary, and the reason people love living here is simply the desire of having a beachside life style. Wide Norfolk pine tree lined streets, outstanding cafes as well as the cool \"Fremantle Doctor\" sea breeze makes this friendly neighbourhood a very sort after suburb. Cottesloe is situated on the coast between Perth and Fremantle, accessed by train and bus routes along Stirling Hwy and all homes are within 3kms of the major private schools including St Hildas, Iona, PLC, MLC, Christchurch Grammar School and Scotch College. Young families or retirees live here in harmony, their common bond being the ever changing vistas of the Indian Ocean.
